Fedora 8 or Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon

I was using fedora 8 in my Laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400 with an ATI Radeon x1300 Graphics card) for about one month. But I could not configure the VGA. So it ran with 1024×768 resolution where everything was blurred. The proprietary driver provided by ATI did not work for me.

So I switched back to Ubuntu, which goes in hands with this VGA. The above driver works fine with zero complains.

Now my next target is to set up y wireless card. Will I be able to achieve it ?

What is the wireless card you are using? I’m having IntelPRO wireless and it works fine with the driver that comes with Gusty

It is a Broadcom wireless card. Broadcom has not released their proprietary driver yet. Untill then I am trying my luck to make it work by following different solutions given by the geeks.
